Wand: Oak (claimed to come from Merlin’s Oak, the birthplace of Merlin), Werewolf’s hair, 11 ¾ inches

Blood Type: Half-blood

Physical Description: Alex has short brown hair with some flecks of dark blonde through it. His hair sometimes seems like it has a mind of its own. Sometimes it's naturally spiked up into a fauxhawk, some days just with it slightly raised in the front and others just have it flat. He has olive green eyes but is shown to turn amber in cases of extreme exasperation or anger. He’s a little too much muscle mass for boys his age, even though he enjoys fast food. Even with that, Alex is in good physical shape. He has three parallel scars running across his left hand, going down a little pass his wrist, and one going along underneath his right forearm. He also has an unusually higher than normal body temperature.

Personality: Alex isn’t one to talk more than necessary. He enjoys doing his own thing at his own pace with minimal interruptions. This doesn’t mean he wouldn’t strike up a conversation here or there. Once he gets to know someone, he’ll casually talk with them but wouldn’t really start a new topic unless he’s curious. Despite that, he can provide witty and sarcastic humor with deadpan expressions on the side. He can keep calm most of the time but during some occasions where he finds things really irritating, Alex could lose grip of his emotions. He has a tendency to growl when he’s annoyed and can display animalistic traits if it really gets out of hand.

Likes: Dogs, reading, cooking, fast food, exercise, hunting, forests and the tranquility that accompanies it, cats

Dislikes: Bats, pickles, hot days, the moon, itches that he can’t reach, things that break his concentration on what he’s doing at the time, cats

Family and History:
Father: Marcus Winchester (Whereabouts Unknown, is claimed to be dead)
Mother: Marie Evans (Deceased)
Grandparents: Bruce and Joan Evans (Legal Guardians)

There isn’t a lot known about Alex’s early years. The only things known are that he was born to Marie Evans, a Muggle-born Auror for the French MoM, and Marcus Winchester, a Pureblood Chaser for Puddlemere United, and that Alex turned up on his grandparents’ doorstep, unconscious and wounded. Aurors, who went over to where Alex and his parents lived and saw that there were claw marks everywhere with signs of spells being used. They discovered Marie with a faint heart beat but succumbed to her injuries on the way to St. Mungo’s. Marcus, however, was nowhere to be found. Domestic violence was ruled out since there were no signs of it when the couple was seen together. Custody of Alex went over to his grandparents and raised him the best as they could. Alex was two at the time.

Alex grew up with French being the first language he spoke since Bruce and Joan were originally from France and spoke with a heavily French accent. Soon, he managed to become fluent in English and could speak it without a hint of a French accent but continued to mainly speak French with his grandparents. During his time growing up, Alex learned how to hunt and use a gun from Bruce and how to cook from Joan. Also at this time, Alex was taught mediations and calming exercises. These were taught to him because he snapped at a kid at school for trying to bully him and before Alex knew it, the other kid was being held up by the collar and crying from the growls Alex was giving him and the change in eye color. From then on, Alex tried to remain calm and keep his temper in check.

Soon, Alex’s Hogwarts letter came and he was ecstatic. He read a lot on magic and the like and was excited to learn it first-hand. Anytime he watched street magicians or illusionists perform their tricks, he couldn’t help but snigger to them. They were just, as they’re named, tricks; just smokes, mirrors and sleight-of-hand. That was all fake and purely for entertainment; he was going to learn the real stuff.
