+KEEP+ Tia's Scar That Keeps Bleeding

Jayce frowned. If Chris weren't here, she'd definitely give her cousin an earful. But he was, so there was nothing for it. She could still give Tia a piece of her mind though. Honestly, messing around with a girl four years her senior and starting to bleed again?

"I call bull. You're far from fine! I can tell you've lost a lot of blood, you're pale as a sheet! And I can tell from experience, you need blood before you faint. Losing so much will make you sleepy. Stay awake, okay?"

She leaned over Tia's leg, keeping a cloth and her hand on the scar as she stuffed the pillows under Tia's legs, stacking them three high. With her hand free after that, she gave Tia's closer cheek three gentle slaps, meant to keep her awake.

She glanced at the curtains Chris had ducked behind, before turning to her cousin. He likely had his own problems, she had seen the brace. He likely wasn't in as much trouble as Tia herself was.

"What were you thinking, practicing with Veronica? Yes, the idea itself was good, but the partner wasn't such a good choice. Her brother probably would have been smarter. At least he looks like someone who wouldn't injure you and say it was an accident.... Although they probably know what spell caused your scar and makes it keep bleeding. I spread word as much as I could that the professor needs help, but I'm not exactly the best at running. Mir probably got more help than I did."

Chris listened to Tia's reason why she went to extreme measures to learn how to cast advance spells. He couldn't help but feel it was a little cliché with the whole 'retributive justice/vengance' motif. Sure, before (way before) people actually used 'an eye for an eye' as their laws but in today's society, not really. You're bound to get thrown in the slammer, injured or worse if it was done today. He shook his head when she was done explaining. "You're planning to search the entire planet for this one guy?" He asked incredulously. "That's like finding a sowing needle in a pile of metal toothpicks; there's like less than one percent of finding what you're looking for. You're gonna waste your life looking for a man, who has magic at his disposal, and take him out? Murders happen every freaking minute and not everyone tries to go find the killer; they move on with their lives. All this anger could lead you somewhere you really don't want to go. Just take Star wars, for instance. Anger and vengance were key factors to the birth of Darth Vader. If you go on with what you're planning to do, you could end up as the next leader of the Seven or like that bald, noseless fellow from those books about some kid and a prophesy involving love as the key, out of all things." He shook his head in disappointment and ran a hand through his hair.

"Plus, the old man is manipulative and an arse, the redhead is also an arse, his sister is a female dog, the blondie boy is a pansy, the grease head is a git and the bookworm heroine is an idiot for choosing the redhead instead of the other guy. But I'm not here to rant on that story and how the last two books are complete bull." He shook his head at himself at straying way off-topic.

When asked about happy thoughts being able to control your emotions, he shook his head. "Not really but those would help with patronuses...patroni... or so I read." He said, confused about the proper plural of the Patronus Charm. "I think about an inflating balloon, don't ask. I imagine my head is the balloon and the air is my temper. I try to keep the balloon somewhat deflated because picturing the balloon burst makes my head hurts since it represents my head."

He froze when Tia called him when he was behind the curtain and asked baout his shoulder. 'How can she see that?' He asked mentally. 'The curtain is certainly not see-through and that the lights aren't bright enough to produce a silhouette! Does she have x-ray or something?' "Um, I'm perfectly fine!" Chris called back, pulling his shirt back on and forgoing the brace. He stepped out from behind the curtain and shoved his hands into his pockets. "Since you got closer company, I'm gonna leave." He waved and quickly left the Hospital Wing, running to his dorms. He quickly changed into suitable clothing and ran outside towards the Forbidden Forest to run after the centaur.

((Yeah... That's how I really feel. Sadly, it goes as far me choosing pumpkin over chocolate {if you know what that means... yeah...}))

(occ: Sorry guys but we are going to have to stall this Thread for a while. The nurse is in Spain and won't be back until sometime this fall. I have asked Jayce if she could save it for us. Waiting to hear back. I can't as my laptop is packed to the max as is. If Jayce can't can you Chris? Or do we just say we did and talk about in other threads? What do you think? Joseph asked us to save this and put it back on when she gets back. If I broke a rule with this post message me on it and I will do my best to fix the problem.
