New members should visit this forum first. It contains the RPG Rules and Regulations, Frequently Asked Questions, and other useful information. This is in addition to the announcements that will be posted here.
From time to time, Rebirth will hold special registrations and request feedback on ideas from its users. Users will do so in this forum.
Have a suggestion for our role-play or forum? Have a question that you need answered? This is the place to post.
Taking time off? If you're going away for awhile, please let us know your status here. Notifying us helps us determine which members have taken time off and which members have quit the RPG, as well as letting others know you won't be around to reply to your threads.
Used for Out Of Character discussion. Games also go here. Sit back, relax, and discuss this day's topics.
Are you into graphic design? Photoshop, PSP, or GIMP? Maybe you would like to improve your design skills, or else have someone make you an image or avatar for your character? Then stop by here and see what our members are offering.

Written and maintained by all of our role-players, this forum serves as an encyclopedia to anything and everything in the Rebirth Story.
The primary wizarding news outlet in the United Kingdom. The newspaper's headquarters, located at Number 16 Diagon Alley, prints its publication 24/7 and delivers it via owl post. They feature morning, evening and weekend editions. Keep up on Rebirth wizarding events here!
The first part of the castle first-years enter upon arrival on September 1st. Often leaves them awestruck.
Meals and feasts take place here, in addition to fifth and seventh-years taking their exams here at the end of the year.
It's quite easy to get lost in the castle. There are hallways that go everywhere, secret passages, and even moving staircases. Travel in groups if you're afraid to wander off on your own!
By far the highest areas of the castle. Some towers hold classes, such as the Astronomy Tower, while others house the staff, such as Professor Witchard's office. Don't forget about the Clock Tower and Owlery, either.
Smelling strongly of old parchment, this area holds most any book you'll ever need. Because of the quiet, students will often come here for homework instead of socializing. Don't forget your signed note if you intend to enter the Restricted Section.
Much like the staff offices, the different classrooms are spread wide throughout the castle, sometimes maybe a bit too far from each other. Whether you're studying on the fifth floor or in the dungeons, misbehavior will not be tolerated here.
Everyone needs their own work area, and the Hogwarts Staff is no exception. Whether coming here for a detention or to argue about your last essay score, you'll find your instructor here.
A no-student area for teachers to congregate and relax in between lessons, whether it be reading the Daily Prophet or having a cup of tea. Staff meetings also take place here.
Infirmary for the school. Run by Mr. Thaumbery and his trusted assistant, staff and students come here for small to moderate ailments. Should you have something more serious, such as a bad curse, you will instead be transported to St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries.
Part of the lower levels of the castle, the Dungeons are used for Potions Class and also house the Slytherin Common Room. They are usually one of the less crowded areas.
If the weather isn't terrible, this area is often a meeting place for students. It's stationed right below the clock tower, and leads to a bridge that accesses the grounds, should you cross the bridge.
Vast, to put it simply. Not quite as big as the grounds at Durmstrang Institute, yet they are a close second. Hogwarts Castle, along with the grounds surrounding it, is surrounded by mountains, a lake, and hundreds of trees.
Much more peaceful than the Great Hall on a Monday morning, the Hogwarts Gardens are popular among the female occupants of the school. Trees, stone benches, and flowers of all kinds. A stone walkway goes through the heart of this area, and the flowers have been personally bewitched by Professor Witchard to last through all seasons.
A large lake surrounds the grounds and the castle. It's a relaxing place to socialize, and there is the occasional student who will choose to take a swim. The deeper you get, however, draws you closer to the creatures living within the lake.
This is where the Inter-House Quidditch Cup takes place. The stadium is large and comes complete with spectator stands. When classes are not being held, the stadium is frequented by the House Quidditch Teams, who use the area to practice.
The forest is off limits to all students. The trees are so thick that it's dark here even during the afternoon, which suits the creatures who live here just fine. Dangerous to enter if you're lucky and deadly if you're not.
If you go out the back door of The Leaky Cauldron and use your wand correctly against the brick wall, you'll gain access to some of the most fascinating wizarding shops in the United Kingdom. You must go through Diagon Alley in order to reach the less-than-friendly alley next to it.
This pub/nightclub is a bit dodgy, and is located in a shadier part of Muggle London. Both wizards and Muggles come here for entertainment, but the Muggles are unaware of their magical counterparts that surround them.
Down the road from Hogwarts is the only entire wizarding village in Great Britain. A popular attraction, though not near as much as it was before the Seven, the shops here rival those in Diagon Alley.
Located in the underground of London, this place is the authority of the wizard population in the United Kingdom. Only those with high marks in their classes can hope of getting a job here.
A large manor in Surrey that was left to Andrew Langerton now serves as headquarters for The Order of the Eight, better known as TOE. This property is under the protection of the Fidelius Charm.
A chain of seven islands 322 kilometers off the coast of Australia. They were once owned by a wealthy Muggle businessman who liked to keep out of the spotlight, but fell under the Seven's possession after the Muggle was found dead in secluded lake. Seven Deaths is also under the protection of the Fidelius Charm.
Earth is not bound by areas such as Britain and Australia. There are many cultures consisting of wizards or Muggles abroad. If you wish to expand your horizon, then you may consider doing some traveling.
Located in one of the castle towers, you give a password to a portrait of a Fat Lady on the seventh floor in order to gain access to Gryffindor House.
Hufflepuffs dwell behind a still painting in the castle's basement. Give the painting the correct password to enter, or take your business elsewhere.
Infamous for a certain Dark Wizard who now threatens the wizarding world, Ravenclaw House is also located in a tower. At the end of a spiral staircase that leads to the fifth floor is a door with a bronze knocker in the shape of an eagle. Answer the eagle's question correctly to enter.
Located in the dungeons, under the Black Lake. The entrance is a little less obvious than the other three houses; you give a password to a bare, stone wall to enter.
Read up on Hogwarts Students here. Those who have left Hogwarts and go on to their wizarding career are also listed here.
Hogwarts Staff members, Ministry Officials, members of the Seven and all other characters have left their information and records here.
This forum houses all the awards ever given to a member or Rebirth (sort of like an online Hogwarts Trophy Room). The awards for each member are listed in the appropriate thread for said member.
Archived threads from all terms 2009 through 2014.
